Research centres
The health sector is facing major challenges. With "Sammen om Sundhed", we want to strengthen the healthcare system's ability to absorb and translate knowledge as well as implement concrete changes.
It requires a holistic approach. That is why we are establishing joint flagship centers that will go beyond health research, just as we are establishing interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers in the humanities, social sciences, engineering and natural sciences.
The flagship centers are financed for a five-year period with a total of DKK 14 million. DKK per center with the possibility of extension for another five-year period with a further DKK 14 million. OUH and SDU each finance 50%.
In addition to the collaboration on the flagship centres, OUH and SDU have the following centres, which conduct health research at the highest level.
